What is the difference between the 2021 International Cover Model Search other model searches? The biggest and most important difference is that we have an incomparable track record for discovering new talent that goes back over 30 years. And,, unlike the huge majority of other model searches - we are not looking for just "one lucky winner" to appear in just one ad just one time for just one company. We are and always have been looking to discover as much new modeling and acting talent as possible.

What are the chances of being chosen? We get that question a lot and here's the answer: Your chances of being chosen are infinitely much better if you enter the 2021 International Cover Model Search than if you were to sit around and do nothing.

Who determines who the top picks will be? Top entries will be determined by industry professionals with a combined total of over 100 years of experience as models, magazine editors, model scouts, booking agents, casting directors, fashion photographers, personal managers, publicists, event producers and fashion show producers in the Los Angeles, New York, Miami Beach, Orlando, Chicago, Dallas, Fort Worth, Atlanta and European markets.

How many successful, working models have been discovered in this way? Hundreds of successful working, models have been discovered over the years and many more will be discovered this year and in years to come.

Will everyone that enters receive a personal reply or an evaluation? No. We can not give a personal reply to each and every entry and we do not do evaluations as it is virtually impossible to evaluate someone's potential just by looking at a snapshot or two as so much depends on individual initiative, drive and determination which are impossible to determine by looking at photographs - so entrants will only receive a personal reply if selected for further participation.

Do actors and models need to be a certain size and/or height? Actors can be almost  any age, height and size but there are usually age and height requirements for models. There are exceptions to every rule, however, so submit your entry first and then let the professionals decide.

What if my child is under 18? The most successful careers happen where there is strong family support and we will always communicate directly with one or both parents when a potential actor or model is under the age of eighteen.

Do I need to sign a photo release in order to enter and/or have my child's photo appear as a discovery in the search? No. A photo release is not required. The Children's Place Kids Model Search and Gap Kids Casting Call contest, for example, do not require contestants to submit photo releases and neither does the 2021 International Cover Model Search as "artistic exhibitions" and news are exempt from the need to have consent from a subject in order to publish a photo of him/her. This means that exhibition of photos of people (of all ages) in galleries, public fairs, online modeling contests, modeling competitions, modeling contest websites, magazines, newspapers, news blogs, postcards, posters and books does not require a signed release from the subject(s).

Will we need to pay commissions for any bookings that may result from entering the 2021 International Cover Model Search? The 2021 International Cover Model Search does not represent anyone as a booking agent, mother agent, artist's manager, personal manager, etc. and we do not charge commissions on bookings. Any agency that books you jobs will, of course, require you to pay them standard agency rate commissions ranging from anywhere 10% to 20% depending on the type of booking - print, commercials, television, film, etc.) but that will be strictly between you and the agent.

What if someone is currently signed with an agency? We prefer to work with people that are not under exclusive contract to an agency. If you are signed non-exclusively or exclusively just for a small geographical area or if you are signed exclusively for modeling and wish to act or if you are signed exclusively for acting and wish to model, however, that could be ok too.

Do we need to live in a large city? No. Most of our biggest discoveries have come from small towns and, although most of the work does take place is in major cities (New York, Los Angeles, Orlando, Miami, Miami Beach, Chicago and Dallas/Fort Worth for example) over 85% of the population of the United States lives within driving distance of a major market.

Only select entrants will be contacted, of course, but you never know - you could be one of them.
